Hello all Cricketers in Hungary.

As previously announced on this website, the HCA intend to send a National Team of Hungary to the Vienna World Cup, to be held on Saturday 4^th and Sunday 5^th July, 2009. All eligible to play for Hungary are welcome to register their interest for selection. The tournament is 6-a-side, but the HCA intend to take a squad of 8 so as to fulfil the tournament organizers requirements. To be eligible to register your interests for selection to the National Team, you must fulfil the following criteria:

• National of the country
• Born in Hungary
• Lived in Hungary for at least 183 days in each of the previous 7 years
• Lived in Hungary for at least 183 days in each of the previous 4 years, and done cricket development work for at least 100 days in the previous 5 years (only members of the team can use this criteria)
• Age – To play in senior cricket matches in 2009, players must have been born in 1992 or earlier

To register your interest and so as to allow plenty of time for arrangements, please reply to main organizer Steve Anthony by Friday 24^th April 2009. Also please copy me into your emails.

As well as players, families of course are welcome. The team will wear their new national kit and it promises to be a very enjoyable weekend.
